The first look at Star Trek Into Darkness has been released this morning. The teaser trailer is narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch’s nameless villain and features plenty of destruction. It’s hard to say what else the trailer is about besides the endless destruction since little resemblance of plot is introduced. It would seem that this Star Trek sequel feels a lot less like the original series it was based on.
Star Trek Into Darkness also stars Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Zachary Quinto Simon Pegg, Karl Urban and Anton Yelchin.
The film is set for a US release on May 17th 2013.
