A new trailer for the upcoming HBO miniseries Parade’s End has come online. The miniseries is a five-part adaptation of the Madox Ford novels starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Rebecca Hall, and Adelaide Clemens. While it has already aired in the UK, this five-part HBO/BBC collaboration will have a plot that centers on “a love triangle between a conservative English aristocrat, his mean socialite wife and a young suffragette”.
To the untrained eye, this looks to be another series in the same vein of Downton Abbey, but series star Benedict Cumberbatch believes Parade’s End has a little more oomph behind it. He is quoted as saying, “This is about class and love, an elegy to a dying era. It’s the final mad waltz of Edwardian society into this war-game idiocy.” I hadn’t heard about this project until this morning, but I can tell you I can’t wait to see it!

Parade’s End will air on HBO for three consecutive nights starting February 26th.
