First Frost

First Frost   Frost on the cold frame!
With a cold and wet start to May it looks like we had seen the last of the warm weather with maximum temps of 11C and our first frost of the year it's just as well I have covered the Sweet Potatoes and remaining Capsicums against the cold weather...brrrrrr!
Seeds Sown:

Parsley Moss Curled Petroselinum crispum Mr Fothergill's
Rocket Eruca sativa DT Brown
Silverbeet Rainbow Mix Beta vulgaris 4Seasons Seeds
These seeds were put into a small cold frame for some protection from the cold.

First FrostThe cuttings taken last month have taken very quickly in the warmer start to Autumn. Now the task of finding room for all the "potted on" new plants is a challenge.
The next lot of propagation will be Seeds of Fruiting crops  which can be sown from the 11th until 5pm on the 14th of May. Possibly more Broad Beans may be sown but I may need to pre-sprout those.
