The need to keep popping Tums has gone but I'm still spending far too much time checking my email . . .
So yesterday I had took a container of mixed fruit and had lunch in this little park on the little used River Road into Asheville.
Since I don't have a smart phone, the temptation was removed and I could enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
It was wonderful . . . and then I continued on in to Asheville for another post-op visit with the ophthalmologist. The eye is doing great.
Someone said I ought to be writing rather than fretting and I am writing -- I think I mentioned before that I've been working on a series of interlinked stories set in present day Madison County. (I wrote four pages of one while in the waiting room before the cataract surgery.) So it'll be fine . . . if I start feeling stressed again, I know where to go. And maybe I'll take my lap top. Pretty sure there's no internet in that little park.
