When we moved into our house a few years ago the master bedroom came with beautiful fitted wardrobes and a bed unit.
When we moved to rented accommodation and rented out the house, our tenants didn't want the units leaving as they had their own. The units have survived two moves although they really weren't meant to be taken down and put back up!
Last Christmas Big Mr A's wardrobe completely collapsed and we had to buy him a new one. Since then we have been making do with the rest of it until we could afford to replace the other parts.
This Christmas my wardrobe also looked on the verge of collapse so we have had to replace that too.
The last part remaining is the bed unit. We are planning yet another move towards the end of the year (back to where we started!) and we know that the bed will not hold up to being taken down and put back together yet again so we are in the process of looking for a new bed.
We have been looking at the sleigh beds to fit in with the wardrobes we have. Ideally we would love to have some storage under the bed too to give us that bit of extra space for all the rubbish bits we have that we don't need very often.
We are currently debating whether to buy a bed now to move with us or wait until we move home and buy one then. The only problem with that is we don't really want to be without a bed for too long! Yes we could sleep on the mattress on the floor but it is not really very practical, or comfy!

Fingers crossed our bed unit lasts until the next big move and we can finally buy the bed of our dreams!
