After what feels like weeks of rain we finally had some nice weather this week and have been out playing in the garden (I know, a miracle seen as it is half term!).
Little Mr A is not a huge outdoor fan, preferring to sit in front of the computer or t.v., however, he seemed to love being outside and rediscovering all of his outdoor toys which were in his playhouse. We did have a moment of panic when we saw a huge spider in his playhouse and Daddy wasn't around to remove it! We had to make do with what we already had out and leave the rest safely in there with Mr Spider!
For Little Miss A it was really her first proper time playing in the garden. She was out in the paddling pool and for messy play last summer, however, this was the first time she had been let loose to interact with Little Mr A and play with all of the toys. She loves getting messy and therefore wasn't phased by anything at all! I was really impressed that she only tried eating one of the gravel stones too!
The Little A's spent a good hour and a half out in the garden before they started getting chilly so we came in for a nice warm bath and a hot chocolate.
I am hoping this mild and dry weather continues so they can carry on having lots of fun outside together - it certainly beats been stuck inside arguing!
