August to January is the peak festive season in India.It starts right from Krishna jayanthi,Vinayaka chathurthi then follows navarathri,Diwali,Karthigai deepam,Maha shivrathri and Pongal (I might have missed a few). Needless to say along with worshiping and spring cleaning the house,we also feast on numerous goodies.Some are prepared for the sake of offering and for some festivals like Diwali there is no set of rules for offering but loads of sweets and snacks are prepared just for feasting and sharing with friends and relatives.Here I have consolidated the festival spread,sweets and snacks that are suitable for all occasions that I have blogged about so far.Hope you all enjoy the spread and happy festive times ahead :)
