As you can tell by the title here are my favorite lipsticks. I always have lipstick (or similar) on my lips no matter the weather or the occasion, it's something that i feel completes my look and the color usually reflects the mood I'm in. I have chose these lipstick colours based on my favorite nude, pink, orange and red. I wanted to share with you my favorite shades which i have been wearing all summer. Be warned some shades are quite bright!!

YVES ROCHER (Grand Gourmand) - available HERE RRP £19.00
I was lucky enough to have received this beautiful lipstick in a goody bag from the bloggers meet up in Birmingham (here) This shade is the perfect red in my eyes, a red suitable for everyone's complexion. It has a slight blue undertone which adds dimension to the color making it more flattering and also creating the illusion of a fuller lip. If you are fine with scented lip products this has the most gorgeous sweet cherry scent, which is to die for. The texture is very creamy which doesn't leave your lips dry throughout the day. When the color is applied it is opaque. Another reason to love this product is the staying power around (5 hours) with the color fading evenly. Even through the day the color doesn't crack or seep. I quite like the packaging, but don't be put off if you don't like the package because this is truly a wonderful lipstick with a great formulation.
M.A.C (Sail La Vie) - Limited Edition
This is my favorite lipstick of all time, although as it came out in the limited Hey Sailor! collection I try not to wear it as much as i would like. It is very creamy to apply, no denying the opaqueness of this color and comes in a satin finish. This is another color which would suit everyones skin tone. I am a sucker for a good red lip and own so many red lipsticks. So its nice and a little unusual to have an orange based lip. The ultimate color for summer. It has definite lasting power but be warned it does leave a slight stain afterwards.
SMOOCH (popping pink) - available HERE RRP £7.50
This was another lipstick to have received at the Birmingham Blogger Meet Up. I had never heard of the brand Smooch before so was intrigued and instantly fell in love with this color. In the tube it is a very vibrant barbie pink (a little garish) but once applied it is a sheer baby pink. It has the most creamy texture, bordering on being a lipgloss. I find that the lipstick can be build-able also which is great for everyones personal taste. As you can see from above it's quite a subtle color which makes in very wearable for everyday & for £7.50 it is definitely worth it. The only downside for me is the packaging and staying power I find myself re applying this like you would with a lipgloss. Other than that i love it, i can't wait to try out more in their lipstick range.
M.A.C (Viva La Glam Nicki) - Limited Edition
A very bright pink from the Nicki Minaj collection at M.A.C it is exactly the same color as in the tube so yes it is as bright as it looks. It has a very subtle yellow undertone which i find quite unusual when it comes to pink colours as they are normally a blue undertone.Above i have used a light hand when applying but the color is very buildable. Like the 3 colours above it is again creamy in texture. I personally prefer satin over a matte finish as it is comfortable to wear without the risk of cracking or drying your lips. It has very long lasting power and wears for hours.
