Rimmel Kate Matte Lipstick in "110"Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in "Blushing Mauve"L'Oreal Rouge Caresse Lipstick in "Tempting Lilac"Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stain in "Honey"
These four 'budget' lip products are the most regularly used within my make up collection. I like them for their shades, but more specifically for their formula and consistency. Definitely worth picking them up if you get the chance to!
Having always been a big fan of the Rimmel lipsticks - finding them to be long lasting and incredibly moisturising, I just had to invest in some of the colours brought out within the new Kate Moss collection. I love this 'corally' red and am now on the lookout for what seems to be the new 'must have' shade - 107.
The L'Oreal Rouge Caresse is another ultra moisturising product. I love it's sheer quality, but most of all I adore the fact that it's formula isn't at all sticky and feels silky smooth on the lips. I've heard a few people say that this is what they were expecting the Revlon Lip Butter's to be like, and I have to say that I agree totally with this statement. As you can see from my other picks, I am a big fan of the Revlon lip products, though I'm going to be controversial here and say that I don't really like the butters - I just find them to be too sticky once applied. Does anyone else find this?
The two Revlon products I have chosen are real gems though. I jumped on the bandwagon completely as far as the balm stains are concerned. They are easy to apply with a beautiful finish - I was a little concerned before purchasing after hearing some reviews from people saying that the scent of them was a little unpleasant - I completely disagree however, and find the (minty/eucalyptus?) aroma to actually be quite lovely!
Then finally, there is the super lustrous finish lipstick from Revlon - a product that I personally consider to be a classic. The shade "Blushing Mauve" is currently my favorite within the collection, though I own a number of others. Another one I absolutely love, is "Black Cherry" a beautiful deep berry colour, perfect for this time of year!
Hope you all enjoyed this little insight into some of my favorite lip products for if you don't want to spend a fortune :) If anyone can think of any essential picks that might be missing from my collection, do let me know!TTFN
