The cabinets received a fresh coat of paint , Edgecombgray for the surround and Kendall Charcoal for the island and mud room, both paints are Benjamin Moore Advance. Jacob at the TileBar has such a great selection that it made choosing the 3 x 12 clean edge subway tiles an easy choice for the backsplash. I have alot of counter space so to cut down on cost I did Carrara Marble for exterior countertops and kept my butcher block for island but added a varnish to it for easy clean up.
I always wanted Iron clad windows but since that wasn't happening I did the next best thing, painted them dark! The window trim received Kendall Charcoal as well as the island.
I loved the range hood but didn't like the chunky stucco so I sanded and skim coated it with white spackle and sealed with a matte sealer to make it look like smooth neutral plaster.
The lighting was from Visual Comfort, Darlana lanterns for island and Flemish Linear for table. I was so excited to finally have lanterns over my island. I knew no glass because I wanted something I could clean easily .
The window bench seat was upholstered in Pindler indoor /outdoor fabric and the pillows were from Etsy done in Princess Pyne's Schumacher fabric.
Hardware was Top Knobs German Bronze which has a dark burnished brass tone. The handles are 7 inch to give a more substantial feel. They are simple and clean.

This old pot belly stove and vintage brick area I just couldn't demolish as it has been with the house for so many years
The floor was refinished in a mix of Provincial and Early American stain.
