Disney has had a hell of a time trying to market John Carter to the public. The trailers thus far seem lackluster and the lead is an unproven big picture commodity. Disney may have the biggest box office flop ever on their hands unless they do something soon.
Luckily, there’s fans of the source material for the film. Based on the novels by Edgar Rice Burroughs, John Carter is a classic science-fiction story. One fan has taken the liberties and strung together a much better trailer for John Carter. Using previously released footage there is now an idea what this story is actually about.
