The model died at the age of 23 years at the North Kinangop Hospital after battling with Marple’s, an inherited disorder in which the body is unable to process certain protein building blocks (amino acids) properly.Benefits
Mercy’s family demands Kes 7 million which they claim Nyamira county government owes their late kin. Josephat Momanyi, Mercy’s father, says that his late daughter is owned the amount for representing Nyamira in various activities in and out of the country.
“The county only made promises of helping the family secure all the benefits which my daughter was entitled to but it did not keep the promises. For the past one year I have tried to follow up with the respective offices including trade and finance but I have not got any help. I followed up with the then trade chief officer who was also very close to my daughter but in vain,” Josephat Momanyi told the Nairobian.Adding that;
“To my knowledge, my late daughter worked for the county government and I know she was doing some good work in representing and marketing our county well in various activities and projects. I urge the county government through the governor John Nyagarama, the First Lady Naomi Nyagarama and the concerned departments of trade and finance to help me get the benefits of my beloved daughter.”
