Well, fall has officially arrived! Granted, there are no pretty colored trees that I've seen yet (DC's tend to go from green to brown to dead on the ground), but the temperatures have been cooling and the sun is setting earlier and earlier (and rising later...anyone else hate that about fall?). It's bee positively crisp in the mornings, and I've found that scarves are a necessity (they also keep my neck warm at work)!
And, in case you didn't notice, I finally chose a pair of glasses from Warby Parker! (read more about my search here). I love them so much, and for $95 you can't beat it! Now I want 100 pairs, so I can shake it up.
I also finally got my hair cut! I decided to shell out the $$$ for a Deva cut. This is a style of cutting specifically designed for people with curly hair. You cut it dry (because curls look so different wet vs. dry). While the cut hasn't done much to improve the fact that my hair still gets super poofy from about my ears down (I'm hoping as it starts to grow out things calm down, because it looked nice at the salon), my stylist introduced me to the Deva Curl product line and I'm hooked! It's a little on the pricey side, but specifically designed for curly hair. It smells wonderful and so far is working splendidly. As I fully transition into the method, I'll let you know how it goes!
