Hi everyone! I've had a lovely week off work (bar the Bloc fiasco!) but it's back to the daily grind for me tomorrow.
I was in Asda yesterday doing the weekly shop, and decided to pop round and have a look at the make up bits. I ended up picking up some face wipes, and a couple of the the cheapy George nail polishes (only £1 each!) but I also got something which is rather unusual for me, a pair of faux eyelashes!
Originally I wanted to get the Eylure '101's as I have heard that they are very thick and natural looking, but unfortunately there was none in stock so I went for the flicky ended '107's'.
In the box came two mini bottles of eyelash glue, a leaflet of instructions, and they eyelashes.
Although I rarely wear falsies except on special occasions, I'm actually not too bad at applying them with my fingers. However, a good tip if you're struggling to apply them is to use tweezers to grip and place.
The only thing I didn't like about the application process, was that the glue irritated my eyelids. Once the glue was dry the lashes were very comfortable to wear, but I recommend using an alternate lash glue such as Duo Lash if you have sensitive lids.
This style is a little too dramatic for me, I would much prefer it if they were shorter for daily wear but nevertheless I think they would be perfect for a night out and I look forwards to wearing them again.
Let me know if you have any recommendations for natural looking falsies that I could wear to work :-)
