The Explorers Connect community for outdoor and adventure enthusiasts has recently re-launched with the aim of helping out current and future expeditions as well as those people looking for expeditions, inspiration and jobs.
There are groups across the UK that regularly meet - I'm a member of the London group; I've made one meeting so far and it was great - drinks, talks and meeting lots of like-minded people. The website, however, is open to everyone no matter where they are from. People can submit their own expeditions, add to others, post advertisements for team places and jobs etc etc. The community is aimed at helping you out with anything to do with your adventures and already has a large following of people with the same ambition; adventure and exploration.
I've been following the site for a couple of years and have found it incredibly useful, I'm now helping the team out with the relaunch and will be keeping the website up to date. This is an easy and convenient service to spread the word and you should be using it!
