First thing in the morning? Really?
You may remember my guest post over at Lisa’s blog, Inspire To Thrive, The Latest Craze: Giveaways in which I talk about two different ways you can host a Giveaway on you blog.
Insert thought here: People host Giveaways for many reasons. Some to draw traffic. Some to show appreciation for their loyal readers. And some because a company or vendor was so gracious to send them free product to give away. Most people to don’t BUY something and host a giveaway in a way to BRIBE people to their blog.
Comments continue to pop up every now and again and of course, part of being a Guest on someone else’s blog, you are required to keep up with all the comments and reply accordingly.
This morning a received another comment:

And to be honest, I took offense to it! Who is she to judge why I hosted a couple giveaways? Is she saying I’m IMMATURE in her last sentence?
Being it wasn’t posted on my OWN BLOG yet it was in response to my CONTENT, I had to bite my tongue a bit but inside I was yelling and wanting to reply in HER arrogant way!
I know I shouldn’t let the comment get to me but I was truly offended to be judged in such a way! Did I read the comment to early in the morning and maybe if I read it say at 10 am, I would have taken it differently? Is the impending tests at the hospital this week weighing on me so much that I wanted something to last out at?
I think not.
Now as you may see, she did leave a link to her blog using CommentLuv. I will not grant her the privilege of my presence on her blog because frankly, I don’t care for her attitude in this comment.
So I thought a few minutes, while sitting on my throne, and replied:

Now I ask you? Was I snide in my reply? Mind you, if it was on my OWN BLOG, I would have come back with my snarky self, however, I had to be mindful of Lisa’s blog. (BTW Lisa, if it is offensive, my reply, please remove from your blog.)
I know there are happy-go-lucky bloggers; smart-ass ignorant higher than thou bloggers; and those who just like conflict and controversy bloggers. Then there are those people who hide behind a computer screen and a keyboard and spout off at the mouth because they know you can’t reach through the screen and bish slap em.
To those of you who may know this person, may you can enlighten me and tell me I totally read the comment wrong and should not have taken offense.
Now I ask you,
Did you find her comment judgmental and offense?
How would you have replied?
Lastly, if she so happens to read my blog post, do know if your intention was to OFFEND me, you succeeded. If it was not your intention, that an apology would be in order.
