Last Saturday I went to Leiden and visited the botanical garden. It looked pretty sad and that it needed some care and love. Although I thought there wasn’t much to see there, rather than just having a nice walk and soak up the sun, I found out that they have a very interesting collection of spooky carnivore plants. They were tiny and still growing to become the little critters menace. But there was something beautiful about them, and I think I could translate that into this macro photo, despite the lack of light.
