Elle 18 Cosmetics has launched new products. I had recently reviewed Elle 18 Juicy Lip Balm. Here is another one from Elle 18. Elle 18 Glow Compact is a pressed powder released couple of months back.
Elle 18 Glow Compact
Packaging:
- Elle 18 Glow Compact comes in a black cardboard box.
- The compact it self is in a black glossy plastic packaging, which is not flimsy but is light.
- It closes tightly with a snap.
- The compact comes with a mirror, a sponge applicator and a thin plastic film which is placed on top the the product.
- The sponge applicator is very thin. It is basically a thin sponge sheet lined with fur/velvet lining on one side for application.

INR 150 for 8 gm.Product:
- Glow Compact is very finely milled pressed powder.
- It is not powdery or has any fallouts. Rather it feels very smooth and soft like talc.
- Has a strong floral fragrance which stays for a while but gets milder in some time.
- The Pigmentation and Coverage of compact is sheer, but s buildable.
- It is easy to layer the product without looking cakey.
- It works fine for all skin type, but it clings onto dry patches like any other face powder would.
- I have dry-oily combination skin, while it worked fine on the drier area and didn't require touch up for 4-5 hours, I felt little oily on my nose after 2.5-3 hrs.
- There is a very uncanny quality of this product, the more I rub it into my skin more shinny it becomes.
Shade - Marble:
Marble is a adaptive shade, It works fine with my skin. As it is sheer it completely blends into my skin pretty well. I layer it for a better coverage.Last Words:
Elle 18 Glow Compact is a decent product in budget brand category. Don't expect miracles. It has good texture as it very soft and finely milled, compared to many budget brands as well as few medium ranged brands which can be rough and grainy.
