E.L.F. Make Up Review

By Claire

A week or two ago Claire emailed me asking, basically, whether I would like some free make up if I reviewed it for the blog- how could I refuse! Last week a big, red parcel arrived, with the address label written in the most beautiful calligraphy; I immediately knew exactly what it was!!

I decided to do a video review as taking self portraits showing the make up turned out to be much more difficult than anticipated! So here it is, sorry that the quality isn’t the best (done on Photo Booth!) but I hope you find it helpful!

Summary

Mineral Infused Face Primer (£6)- I’d recommend this, it feels amazing and definitely helps smooth your skin to give a good base for your foundation.

Eyelid Primer (£1.50)- I also like this, and it definitely helped keep my eyeshadow in place, and helped get rid of any redness or fine veins on the eyelid.

Hypershine Lip Gloss (£1.50)- Smelt amazing and a lovely colour, just a little sticky. After looking at the website it also comes in other colours.

High Definition Powder (£6)- Very good, but not great for dry skin. After an hour or so this dried my skin out but has a lovely shimmer to it, so would be a nice extra touch to apply after foundation.

Shine Eraser Sheets (£1.50)- A fab little item to keep in your handbag, the definitely helped with shine on my t-zone.

Studio Make-Up Mist and Set (£3.50)- After a good few hours I do feel this may have helped keep my make up in place. Smells amazing and very refreshing.

Hope this overload of information helps! E.L.F. is available to buy here.

Sally x
