As all of my Easter chocolate has officially been eaten, I have been on the hunt for some sweet, healthy snacks to have on hand in the kitchen to curb those sweet cravings. I have always been a big fan of fruit, especially berries but I don't often seem to pick up a punnet of grapes when I am whizzing around the grocers. However, I saw the idea on Estee's video and knew I had to try it. There really isn't a recipe to share other than pop them into the freezer for at least 2 hours. I didn't bother taking them off the vine and they worked perfectly and I actually think they look really pretty as a bunch. Since discovering the beauty of the frozen grape, I have since that Jamie Oliver pairs them with dark chocolate and guapa for an after dinner treat. He describes them as "sorbet but without the work" which I 100% agree with. They are little pops bursting full of flavor and I can imagine them working an absolute dream as the temperatures start to rise.
Honestly, I urge you to give this a go as I can't believe I have wasted 24 years without trying them! They taste absolutely delicious and not to mention how beautiful they look. Do you freeze fruit? Or do you have any ideas for quick, healthy snacks?
