Easy Quick Sponge Cake at Home -Recipe-Basic-Simple Style

Hey there
I could get some time for baking yesterday and I thought of making a cake.
Let me confess that I'm a beginner in the cooking/baking section so my recipes will be super simple and easy annndd quick(because I can't wait to eat my handmade food)
Anyway coming to the recipe I have made the cake with small quantity and I almost have all the electronic equipment in my home and they made the cooking method even more simple.

The ingredient list:
210gms All Purpose Flour or Maida + 2tbsp extra for dusting the cake tin.
  • 250gms of Butter
  • 200gms of Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 50ml Milk
  • 1tbsp Vanilla Essence
  • Additional ingredient-Tuttifruti

  • Method:
    1. Beat the eggs. Add vanilla essence to it before beating.I have used my electronic egg beater to do this. You got to beat it till you find it turning into creamy texture. I mixed it for good 8mins with the speed set as 2.
    2. Beat the butter (keep a chunk of butter aside to grease the cake tin)and sugar till the sugar granules completely melt in the butter and form a thick paste.
    3. Grease the cake container with the butter and dust it with the 2tbp flour that we kept aside.
    4. Now the tricky part.
    Mix the ingredients together. First, add half of flour,half of egg mix,the butter sugar mix. Mix it slowly by adding the milk. Once the mixture forms even without any air bubbles, add the remaining ingredients and mix it slowly till you find the consistency of the mixture turns thick creamy yet runny.
    5. Transfer the cake mix to the cake tin and tap it make sure that there are no air bubbles.
    6. Bake the cake with the temperature as 180c and the time as 15mins.

    Your cake is made. The best part of this sponge cake is that it can be served as soon as its made.
    Pointers:
    You can preheat the oven to reduce the baking time.
    You can add the tuttifruti in the mixture for that extra essence.
