Easy Peasy Breadsticks

This is such a easy recipe, I almost feel bad posting it.

I said almost….

Monkey Girl adores this recipe. She loves it with spaghetti and a salad or chicken Alfredo. It goes well with the other million Italian recipes I have made over the years.

It cant be beat because it is so easy and versatile. It goes well with just about anything and it is a cinch to pull together.

I am not sure why I am just now posting this recipe.  I have been making it for years, sometimes changing up the cheese. It all depended on what I had on hand. I found that a combination of Mozzarella and Parmesan are also a great choice to use. Then possibilities are endless.

Easy Peasy Breadsticks

Ingredients:

1 (10 ounce) can prepared pizza crust
1 tablespoon garlic flavored oil
1/2 cup provolone cheese, shredded
1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon dried oregano

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425.
Unroll pizza dough onto a greased cookie sheet and brush with oil.
Sprinkle cheeses and oregano evenly over the dough.
With a pizza cutter, cut dough lengthwise into 12 long strips. Then cut those in half to make 24 strips.
Do not separate strips.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown.
Recut along each strip and remove from cooking sheet.
