Easter in Tenerife!

By Annieuncanny

It is finally spring and Easter holidays are coming up and after a long winter a vacation filled with sunshine, new experiences and good food does not sound too bad. Some of you are staying close to home, the rest are probably yet again late with the vacation planning.  One underestimated, in my opinion, holiday destination is Tenerife in the Canary Islands and with no winter season the sunny weather is – almost- sure never to disappoint. It has been a popular Easter destination for very long for Scandinavians thanks to direct flights, but nowadays it is to many considered a has-been destination so many are not even considering this destination; a mistake for such a beautiful island known as “the Island of Eternal Spring”.

Tenerife is the largest and most popular island of the seven Canary Islands and has over 900,000 residents being the most populated of the seven islands that make up the Canary Islands.

As a result of volcanic activity Tenerife has a scenic and dramatic landscape and this can be witnessed long before the flight hits the ground, but a bicycle ride between the villages is also a great way to explore this beautiful picturesque backdrop unique to Tenerife.

Excellent infrastructure makes for exciting excursions, be it close or far away from where you are staying.
