When we think of spring, we might think of green grass, blue skies, and of course, the bright flowers. Then there are days when all we see is rain, gray skies, and dull plants. However, there is beauty to found in everything, even the weather....Ok, I have literally no clue where I was going with that, but what I was trying to say is that this spring I want to use more dusty rose lip shades instead of the intense bright lips which is common this season. I thought I would share a few of my favorites.
NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien. This tidbit was offered last year as the official Sephora birthday gift for Beauty Indsiders. It came in a duo kit, one color being a ruby matte color and the other is this dark flush rose color. It has a creamy formula with a satin finish, meaning it has a reflective look because of the micro specs of shimmer (link).
Julep Plush Pout Lip Crayon in Almond Nude Creme. This lip color is more on the brown side, but deserves a mention on this list. It has a smooth, shiny finish with a moisturizing lip balm core that does justice in keeping the lips hydrated, all while showing that perfect dusty rose color (link).
Etude House Rosy Tint Lips in 07 Tea Rose (review here). This product actually inspired me to do this post. The tube suggest it is more brown, but it really has a rosy pink undertone. One of my favorite products to break out during more humid weather because of the beautiful matte finish. I say humid because this product dries really matte, but when applied thickly it has a light sheen finish. It is perfect for lip gradients and sometimes, even as blush (link).
Too Faced Perfect Lips Lip Pencil in Perfect Spice. An oldie, but a goody, and almost an empty! I have had this lip liner for ages and I have loved it for every second. What makes it worthy of a try it that it dries completely matte and it does not budge.

Those are some of my dusty rose lip favorites that I will be breaking out this season. Next week I will be posting my Spring Edit, which I have not done for like two years...lol. Anyways, what are your dusty rose lip favorites?
Happy Friday!
