Before the Little A’s came along our dog, Shadow, was definitely our baby and we used to treat her very much like a child, especially at Christmas when she would get lots of her own presents.
Since the Little A’s have come along it does get harder to involve her in everything and becomes difficult to treat her as much because finances unfortunately just won’t stretch that far. We do always get her a little something for Christmas, however, this year she has been well and truly spoilt with a gorgeous doggy hamper from Pets at Home.
She was sent the following items:
Mini Twister Penguin Toy and Penguin Squeaker toy
These are really cute little dog toys with an RRP of £2.00. They are the sort of toy Shadow loves to play with but rips to pieces in a very short time. We never spend a lot on toys like this as we know they will be destroyed, however, for the price, and the amount of fun she would get from them we would definitely consider these as a little gift for her at Christmas.
Rawhide and Munchy Stocking
With an RRP of £7.00 this is a great gift for your family pet this Christmas. There is a great selection of treats in the stocking to keep them happy well beyond Christmas day. It also looks great and wouldn’t necessarily need wrapping up. I would certainly consider something like this as a treat for Shadow at Christmas.
Ho Ho Munchy Bones
This two pack of munchy bones has an RRP of £2.50 and looks like a really lovely little stocking filler for dogs. Shadow really enjoyed munching on one whilst she tried on her…
Santa Paws Hoodie
When Shadow was younger she would always have a coat or jumper on at this time of year and used to love being dressed up. As she gets older she is definitely less tolerant, however, this hoodie was really easy to put on and was very stretchy so did not trouble her too much. She was more than happy to wear it for a little while and looked quite comfy in it. The hoodie is great quality and looks so sweet. With an RRP of £10 I think this would look great on any dog this Christmas and, as it comes in a variety of sizes, you should be able to find one to fit any dog, big or small. If you aren’t keen on this style of hoodie, why not check out the great range of other doggy clothing on the Pets at Home website – maybe your pooch would prefer a Christmas jumper or dress?!
Pets at Home really do have a great range of gifts for your pets this Christmas and, with a variety of items available at different prices, there is something to suit everyone this festive season!
