The Little A's have recently received two new books from Parragon to read and review.
First we received Everybody Loves Butterflies. Written by Tanis Taylor and illustrated by Masumi Furukawa, Everybody Love Butterflies is a lovely book about a little caterpillar who does not want to turn into a butterfly as he likes things as they are. The book sees his friends telling him how beautiful butterflies are, how high they can fly and the amazing sights they see but little caterpillar doesn't want anything to change. As the story continues, little caterpillar realises he will still be him, just with wings!
This is a really nice book with a great message for young children. The illustrations are bright and simple and very engaging. The Little A's have really enjoyed looking at this book and Little Mr A has love reading it both to himself and his sister.
Next we received Muddy Paws' New Friends. Written by Steve Smallman and illustrated beautifully by Simon Mendez this book is about a dog called Muddypaws and his best friend Ben. One day Ben takes Muddypaws to puppy school where he meets two new friends. The three pups have to work together to impress Ben!
This is a great book for young children and helps to teach them about making new friends as well as keeping hold of old ones.
The book is illustrated beautifully and the pictures of the puppies are really lifelike which has really pleased Little Miss A!
We would recommend both of these books to everyone!
