Does the USA Have a Personality Disorder?

In the book I Hate You, Don’t Leave Me, the authors spend a chapter on why the USA is a Borderline society, check it out sometime. I find myself in agreement with them.

I am absolutely certain that groups of people, ethnic groups, religions, organizations, corporations, governments, nations and even nation-states can have personality problems. Just as each of us as an individual has a personality, so of course does every human grouping, ethnic group, religion, organization, corporation, government, nation and even nation-state have a personality. Just as an individual can have a disordered personality, so too can any of the human groups listed above.

What do you all think of this. Does the USA suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder or some other personality disorder?
