I can't believe I forgot to keep you guys updated on the Doctor Who special. Well, no worries. I guess you may have already heard all the stuff about the upcoming Doctor Who 50th anniversary special which brings back my favorite Doctor David Tennant and Matt Smith together for an epic celebration. But, you may not know about the title or the runtime of this upcoming highly anticipated episode. Read along to find out.
It's official: The title of the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special will be "The Day of the Doctor."And the episode is set to run 75 minutes long, which is even longer than Doctor Who Christmas specials.
Billie Piper also returns as Rose Tyler and John Hurt will be taking the role of Valeyard in this episode as the Doctor’s darker side. The rumor is that the current doctor Matt Smith is set to be killed by the Cybermen in this same episode to make way for the newly elected doctor, Peter Capaldi.
Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor premieres November 23rd on BBC & BBC America.
