I am sorry, but this absolutely preposterous. The vast majority of straight men are not “confident leaders,” trust me when I say that.

I doubt it. Women are idiotic and nuts, but they are not so insane as to expect every guy they go out with to be a “confident leader.” If they expected that, most women would hardly ever get a date.
Actually, you can even be a shy guy
Shy guys can get women. I am not sure it is a killer. A lot of them accused of being gay though. Apparently for a man, being shy alone is evidence that you are a homosexual!
But I will say that shyness is bad for a man, not because women hate it (not necessarily true, and anyway a lot of women are shy themselves) but that men really have to approach women because women will not approach them.
