Decorating our house is not always heavy on pocket and sometimes we can do some tweaking here and there to make it beautiful and stand out of the "common". Such inspiration was captured at Pink Villa restaurant, Hauzkhas Village.
A DIY iron bucket lamp which is cleverly painted in ivory and pink, light gives an ombre effect to the inside of the bucket. We have moved away from using iron buckets at home, I remember we used iron buckets back in Varanasi and plastic buckets were nowhere. Little I knew that we could do this too otherwise I would have brought them here, right this moment to re-create these lamps. It doesn't mean I can't do this now, it's that I need to buy brand new iron buckets.But DIY is more useful when it is used on something that you are not using and can convert it into a useful piece.
BUT a little inspiration is always nice and helpful in life so we can use it in future if not now!!
