The other day perusing Instagram, I saw my college roomies AKA “the wives” were having a craft night. I was so jealous missing out on all the fun :( . Wahhh, poor me.

Anyways, they hand painted the cutest little oxford’s I have ever seen… so with their permission (of course), I decided to share how they did it with all of you. In it’s own weird way it kinda felt like I was with them, minus the fact I was alone in my house watching Gossip Girl reruns.

Okay, so maybe it didn’t feel like I was with them… but atleast I scored some new shoes for less than $15. Good job lady loves. Miss you!!

+ Supplies: a pair of plain white sneakers which you can get at Target for $12.99, some brushes of a few sizes (small, medium, large), & an acrylic pant of your liking. I personally chose a darkish metallic gold color…

+ Step 1: Take out the laces and trace as seen above on both shoes.

+ Step 2: Trace the “widows peaks” (as I call them).

+ Step 3: Get to painting.

Once your shoes are nice and dry… wear the you-know-what out of ‘em. I don’t know why, but I have decided to leave the laces out, for now. I am waiting for miss Whit to send me some Twistband laces

;)
!!

P.S. If you entered my LuLus.com contest, I will be announcing the winner HERE in just a bit!!
