Every Monday I’ll bring up this post so we can talk about what we watched over the weekend. I’d enjoy hearing what new movies, games, or televisions shows were seen over the weekend. This is what I’ve been watching this weekend.
Movie: The Hunger Games
I guess the bigger question would be: Who didn’t see The Hunger Games this weekend. With an opening bow of 155$ million dollars it was the third biggest opening weekend of all-time. It should be interesting to see how much staying power it has, but my money has it repeating as number 1 next weekend against Wrath of the Titans.
TV: Mad Men
Mad Men is back for its fifth season and I couldn’t be happier. Of course it has been away for far too long, so some of the plot twists from Season 4 have been forgotten, but tonight’s premier was strong. A lot of people can’t stand January Jones, so they’ll be happy to know she didn’t appear in the premier. Other than that it was great seeing the cast together again and I can’t wait for more advertising drama.
