❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤VOGUE August 2013 was covered by Sridevi in powder-pink blouse and A-Line skirt by Oscar De La Renta, white sapphires and diamond set and pearl set by Rose. Dior's statement cuff completed her jewelry. Sridevi's voluminous hair looked gorgeous which was done by Matthew Wade - Carol Hayes Management. An understated, soft makeup did a perfect job for her outfit to stand out - done by Dimitra Altani of Anima Creative.
While this issue was to talk about Sridevi's ever green beauty, talent and contribution towards Indian Cinema, her photo shoot was a different story (for me). Though she looked stunning in all pictures, what kept me bothering was why it was important for a bunch of young men looking at her derriere to prove her beauty. A couple of pictures felt like they were taken from a p@#$ movie with a role play of hot teacher and pervs (students). In my opinion, this was definitely not needed if VOGUE was planning to demonstrate how hot she is in this age. I wish they did the recap of her old hot looks in her new-hot-age. It would have been more impactful, pushing us to buy DVDs of her old films.
If you have this edition of VOGUE then you'd know what I am talking, and you might or might not agree with me. If you don't have the copy and you are unable to get one, let me know. I'd post the pictures of this photoshoot!
