Dick Pics

By Fsrcoin

Another sex thing I don’t understand: dick pics. Become such a phenomenon that those words are now a familiar part of our vernacular.

Dick Pics

Maybe, just maybe, okay if a couple is already tight. But otherwise, what is it with men sending dick pics? As if that will favorably impress a gal. (What sort of gal?)

Visuals turn on men more than women, but many men didn’t get this memo. Perhaps I’m an old fuddy-duddy, but I’d think women would be more repelled than intrigued by men they hardly know sending dick pics. Ewww.

Perhaps some men are proud of their junk and want to show it off. And women do like big more than small. Though it ain’t what you’ve got, but how you use it. But anyway, whatever the size, a dick is just a dick. It’s not as though they vary much aesthetically.

I point to my own attraction for boobs — which do vary greatly, not just in size — and my tastes there are actually highly specialized depending on various attributes. Such can’t plausibly be the case with dicks.

Well, I finally learned that if I wanted sex, just ask. Maybe a lot of men are not very articulate with words, and a dick pic is their way of just asking. Finesse be damned.

My discussion is prompted by a PBS “Frontline” documentary about scamming. One common scam involves pretend women getting men to exchange naughty photos, then demanding money or else they’ll post the pictures to all their contacts. Suicides are known to result. A tragic one by a 17-year-old featured in the documentary.

Good rule of thumb: don’t put anything online if its becoming public would make you kill yourself. There’s no such thing as “private” there. (Actually, that teenager could have simply dismissed those pictures as AI-generated.)

But even absent scamming, IMHO dick pics are almost always stupid. You might as well just send a message saying “I’m an asshole.” Or do it visually with a pic of that part of your anatomy.
