Banned everywhere
On Monday November 12th 2018, Basata announced that ‘Mwanza’ had been banned from being played anywhere including the forthcoming Wasafi Festival.Basata explains that the title ‘Mwanza’ was used to conceal the real message that the song is conveying, they condemned the two singers for using lewd language and promoting homosexuality in their new song.“Tumesikitishwa sana na msanii mkubwa kama Diamond kushiriki kuimba wimbo usio na maadili kwa kuwa ni msanii mkubwa anayetazamwa kama kioo na jamii.
