After Derrick Rose had another Career night beating the Bucks 95-87 and 30 points and a career high 17 assists. Its clear that he is the leading candidate for this years MVP. Its hard for me to really say anyone else because the definition of MVP is most valuable player. not always the one who has the best stats. But, this is always a debate each year.
For example we can compare this to the fact how Lebron won it the past two seasons. The man defined the word without him. The team would have been how they look now i guess. No disrespect to the Cavs but, without him they have not been the same team.
The last time the bulls were really this relevant in any sense of the word was when Micheal Jordan won his 5th MVP trophy in 1998. As, well as the bulls completing there second three-peat. Since Jordan left the bulls have failed to make it past the eastern conference finals in 13 years.
Rose also reminds me much of Jordan when he was younger. Because no matter what game or any night you would go to. You would often see a highlight or a pass that would make you jump out of your sight and excite you. Rose does much of the same with his amazing jumping ability as well as his great basketball skills.
We will see how far they go but, with Rose and company they look like they have one of the better chances they have had in a long time. Also with Rose being from Chicago he looks to bring the championship home to one of the leagues more historic franchises. Related Posts : NBA
