Deepika Padukone IIFA Rocks 2016 Inspired Eyes

By Ishita Sesha @makeupert
Hello makeuperts!
Deepika Padukone swooned everyone with her glamorous makeup looks and outfits at IIFA 2016. I picked her IIFA rocks look to recreate the exaggerated graphic eyes done by the one and only Daniel Bauer. I'm not a pro at doing eye makeup  but tried my best, hope you all like my efforts. Comment below pinning your thoughts whether it's positive or negative, I'll love to hear your thoughts :)

How to achieve this look?
The key to nailing this look is in keeping things sharp. Use cello tape or any flat object to create a guideline between the ends of your eye and eyebrows. You will need three colours of eyeshadow for this look - slate grey, dark black and silver.
Use the shimmery slate grey shadow (Pebble Grey) on the entire eyelids, define the crease and outer corner using the dark black eye shadow )Eternal Black) and further apply the silver (Hourglass Beige) on the inner corners to open up the eyes. For the strong graphic eyeliner, use Maybelline Drama Gel Liner to first create a dramatic cat eye. Draw another line above your crease and join it to the tip of the cat eye. Make sure your shadow work is restricted within the graphic eye. Finish with 3 coats of Maybelline Volum’ Express Falsies Mascara.
