Weekend came and for this week,the drink is the simple dates milkshake and there is no need for step pictures i think and now am concentrating on my blog with step pictures and for nearly 1 year i did writeup and not with step pictures and am really feeling guilt of that one.From now on i will post the recipes with step pictures which will be more useful to readers.So now am going with sincere attention to the blog now and sometimes feel really bad when comes to blogging.From now am leaving everything and concentrating full on my work now.My friends and family encouraging me to continue this work and am really happy for the return.This simple yet delicious milkshake is going to +Shobana Vijay who is celebrating her Blog Anniversary today and am wishing her many more to come.
Coming to the recipe,you can use any flavored ice cream,i used butterscotch which i bought a week back.This gives a different taste to the recipe and healthy dates goes really well with that flavor.You can also add dry fruits and nuts to the shake.I used the golden honey instead of sugar here.This will help you to feel filling and also really good to health.This is also a kid friendly recipe and serve with drizzled honey.Dates has n number of nutrients and it is really good for children and also for adults too.Those who are in weight loss diet take this along with skimmed milk in between breakfast and lunch.This makes you full and you can consume only little amount during lunch.Also am planned to make weight loss recipes,so stay tuned...Lets move on making...
Dates Mikshake(2 Persons)
Ingredients for making
- Dates(unseeded) - 6 nos chopped
- Milk - 1 cup
- Ice cream - 2 scoops
- Honey - 1 teaspoon
- Crushed ice cubes - as needed
How to make
- Blend all in the blender for a minute.
- Serve chilled.
Cooking tips
- Use 2 teaspoons sugar if you are using sugar for the recipe.
- Use any flavored icecream as you wish.
