Darkness To Light

This morningVery early this morningMy mum, my sister and Honey and Lea and I all took part in the Pieta House 5km walkWe got up at 2 30amAfter only a couple of hours sleep Braved the cold and the rain And headed in to townWhere the walk was starting at 4 15amThe idea was to start the walk in the darknessAnd to finish just as dawn was breakingIt was very symbolic and poignantThere was a massive turn out The biggest yetAnd it was amazing to be a part of itAs it's such a worthwhile causeWe all stayed at the back because Lea gets nervous in crowdsWe were one of the last to finish in the endMy only complaint was that there was no tea or coffee left when we got backWe were cold and wetSo a cuppa would have been niceBut anywayA good time was had by allI am now back homeIn clean dry clothesWith a cup of tea in my handMy sister is cooking breakfastAnd Honey and Lea are gone back to bedHere are done photos from this morning.....
