Ahhh, Thanksgiving. A U.S. holiday, no doubt, but one we can all appreciate, worldwide. A day to give thanks, a day to spend with family, and oh my, a day of feasts!
I have so many blessings in my life, too numerous to count, but a few of my top ones I’d love to share. I am thankful for:
- Living in a country where I can practice my faith openly and without fear of reprisal.
- A family that has remained close throughout the years and miles.
- Beautiful, smart, wonderfully-made and wondrously-loved children who have grown up into adults I am so very proud of.
- My sweet, sweet baby monkey grandson whose heart is bigger than the sun and smile is brighter than the moon.
- A love unlike any other with a man who constantly amazes, forever surprises, and is remarkable in every way.
- A cozy fireplace, warm blanket, my red mama-bear chair and a good book.
- My Van Morrison station on Pandora ~ never fails ~ the perfect song always comes on for the mood I’m in ~ how does Pandora know!
- YOU! My lovely, incredible readers. You are the heart and soul to this blog and your readership, comments and emails never fail to give me a sense of awe. I love YOU sweet, dear reader.
- Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and being able to continue to learn long after school days are over.
- This blog and the opportunities I’ve had to enjoy time with authors and other bloggers. Truly golden moments of mine!
And there ya have it ~ just a few things I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving. What fills up your cup with warmth, gratitude and love?
