Crate Paper Design Team : Mini Notebooks

By Jcchris
Hello CP friends! Today I'm a sharing a very super fun tutorial on how you can make mini notebooks in a short time! Let's start...Crate Paper Design Team : Mini NotebooksYou sure need very little supplies to make one of these mini notebooks. They are patterned papers, A4 papers, a sewing machine (or hand stitching), washi tapes and embellishments for the cover.Crate Paper Design Team : Mini NotebooksUse your paper cutter and trim your 8.5" x 11" paper in half. I trimmed about seven pieces at a time with my paper cutter. You are trimming the long side in half. Just fold the papers in half & you can see how your pages will be. Use the pages to measure how big you want your cover to be. I left about half inch or so around every edge between the pages and the cover. Next, trim the cover to size.Crate Paper Design Team : Mini NotebooksAfter stitching the middle part of the notebook, I used washi tape to cover the stitches. To give a "book binding" feel. Some I left the stitches as it is which is quite nice too!
