A family visit this past weekend and we enjoyed getting to see these two cousins having fun together.
Launching paper planes from the loft overlooking the living room . . .
It was just as much fun for them as it was, thirty-some years ago for our boys and their cousin (the dad and the uncle of these two.)
The last time this crew visited, Jack (the older boy) walked up the quarter mile of road from Justin's house to our house in the very early morning before any of the grownups were awake.
This time it was Asher's turn to make the hike by himself -- surprising everyone, including his dad who hadn't seen him leave -- but who followed soon after, bringing Jack too. Asher felt, I think, that he'd joined the Big Boy club. We are happy that the boys can have a little unsupervised adventure in their lives. More memory building for the third generation to enjoy the farm. . .
