LOCATION
Courtyard by Marriott Stockholm Kungsholmen is located within the city center, near restaurants and shops. Five minutes away by foot are two metro stations, Thorildsplan and Fridhemsplan, as well as a stop for the Flygbussarna Airport Coaches bound for Arlanda and Bromma airports.
STYLE/CHARACTER
Although by no means grand nor ostentatious, the interiors of Courtyard by Marriott Stockholm Kungsholmen, beginning from its bright and airy lobby, are inviting. With the hotel’s style, it’s clear that the hotel appeals to a younger set of travelers—after all, the Courtyard by Marriott brand tagline is Make Room for a Little Fun.
ROOMS
We stayed in a deluxe room, and it was chic, vibrant, and refreshing with its design and choice of colors. Sure, it was laid out simply, but it had everything we needed—a comfortable bed, a desk, an oversized lounge chair, a refrigerator, coffee and tea making facility, and an LED TV. The spotless bathroom, meanwhile, was stocked with fragrant amenities.

The hotel offers a state-of-the art fitness center, bike rentals, and 13 meeting rooms.
FOOD AND DRINK
Breakfasts at BJORK Bar & Grill are a mix of delicious Western hot and cold items. After having breakfasts elsewhere in Europe that were rather light, we were pleased that the selection was extensive, and we surely were filled up for the day.
SERVICE
The front staff were very friendly, and they handled my requests efficiently. We got to the hotel in the middle of the night, so we were thankful that our keys were handed in a jiffy.
VALUE FOR MONEY
Despite being one of the few international chain hotels in Stockholm, rooms at Courtyard Stockholm Kungsholmen are reasonably and competitively priced.
