But I will certainly ask the pizza delivery guy for the oregano seasoning sachets.
No wonder we never order Smokin' Joes or Pizza from any other delivery.
Always Dominos.
Because we love the seasoning . It goea on toast, eggs and noodles.
And sometimes in paranthas.
Mostly on pizzas.
So we tried many brands that are available and then decided to make our own.
So close to those seasoning packets.
For the
CopyCat Pizza Seasoning Spice -Dominos Style
You need
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp sugar castor sugar is best
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp basil leaves
1/2 tsp thyme
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp oregano
2 tbsp red chilli flakes
1/2 tsp onion powder( if you have it- I couldn't find that in the market)
In my quest for the Dominos flavor,I have trued many many seasoning brands.
Consequently,I am now the Mistress of many ,many spice bottles.
And of course,the Mistress of Spices.
Since I now prefer to use sea salt and large sugar grains, I needed tp run my spice mix in the blender.
So that's my advice to you.
Use caster sugar and grind the sea salt prior to mixing up the spices.
Just bring them together...
Eh Voilà.
The same taste.
So all you need is an empty spice bottle and you are good to go.
And a word of advice. Refrigerate the spice mix.
Because I am not using an anti caking agent and the sugar and salt will clump in Mumbai humidity.
So now... we're good to go ..and I'm not sure that hubby dear won't have to dubsmash.
I'll still ask for the seasoning sachets from Dominos. But now ,I'll be as liberal with the spice mix as I want to be instead of rationing the mix.
You should try this...we sprinkled it on the Whole Wheat Russian Chrysanthamum bread ...
The flavors are all there.
Feel free to reduce the amount of red chilli flakes... but hey, they help burn the cheese on your pizza.
