Cool To Be Plastered!
If you have been following me for a while you know that I was a decorative painter prior to decorating. I would say that the 90's and early 2000's seemed to be the height of faux finishing and mural art. I still think that there are techniques that are still widely used today and will always remain classic.They are the use of plaster for wall finish and historic mural reproductions. I still love and will always love a great venetian and lime plaster wall. Although one can achieve this look through DIY, I still strongly suggest that large spaces be left to the pros if you wish for the finish to look flawless and timeless.
