Hello makeupholics!Today I'll be showing you a simple tutorial on how to conceal your under eye area, using a coral/orange lipstick. I have seen many vloggers using a red lipcolor to hide under eye darkness because the stickiness of the lipstick holds the concealer well for 8/10 hours. This picture tutorial features 5 steps which are very important when concealing under eye area - moisturizing, color correction, concealing and setting powder (either loose or pressed). Step By Step Tutorial : How to Conceal Under Eye AreasStep by Step Tutorial : Moisturise with Eye Cream
Step 1 : Moisturize the under eye area with an under eye cream! It would help in streak free blending of concealer properly and prevent it from getting patchy. I have used Lakme Youth Infinity Eye Cream. Use your ring finger with least pressure to massage the cream completely into the skin. Cover the entire eye area including eyelid.Step by Step Tutorial : Apply a Orange Corrector
Step 2 : Once the cream is absorbed fully, apply a orange color corrector or a matte orange/coral lipstick to camouflage the under eye dark circles. Here I have used a red lipstick since I have heavy dark circles (all thanks to my books).Step by Step Concealing Tutorial : Apply Concealer
Step 3 : Apply the concealer on top of the color corrector using small dots and blend using blending brush. Fingers or beauty blenders are the best tool to blend the concealers, as it warms up the product and gives a airbrush look.Step by Step Tutorial : Blend everything
Step 4 : Pat nicely with your ring finger/beauty sponge (blender) to avoid any harsh edges that is left behind.Step by Step Tutorial : Pat Loose Powder
Step 5 : Set the concealer with loose or pressed powder using a fluffy eye brush. The powder will prevent the concealer from creasing.Final Look : Chambor Orosa Sculpting Eyeshadow Stick Rose Smoke Swatches
To complete the look, groom your brows, curl your lashes using an eyelash curler and apply 2 coats of a waterproof mascara. You can even go for false lashes if needed.
