Bordeaux: What is there not to love about it? First of all, it's a wine that I happen to LOVE, and, well, who really needs another reason? But really, berry and bordeaux shades are HUGE this fall and the best part? They look good on everyone!! (I swear I'm not just saying that).Here's the catch: everyone who's anyone in the fashion world keeps talking about how berry is the new brown. Not in my world. While it may be trendy to ditch the brown in favor of burgundy, I'm not buying it.
The most important thing to remember is that trendy is just that: a trend. Trends pass and fade and who really has the time or the budget to keep up with them anyway? Bottom line is this: Your staple pieces and colors will never be replaced. Rock your style season in and season out because it's you and you don't need a "trend" to define that.
