Ciao dears,
This past May, which was like 4 months ago already!, I finally graduated from college! Four years felt like quite a long time. So much homework, so many papers and projects, reading, Education club meetings, teaching observations and practicums, student teaching, stress, and many many sleepless nights (and weeks!), all finally led me to receive my bachelor or arts degree in Elementary Education (with a minor in English Literature) from Holy Family University. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.8 G.P.A and was awarded Honors in the School of Education! I was also on the dean’s list every semester. I know I sound like I’m bragging right now…because I am. All that hard work and effort gives me the right to do so every now and then, in my opinion. College was wonderful though. I suggest everyone that wants to go to college goes, preferably right after high school, otherwise life gets in the way. It is possible for anyone that wants to achieve that goal to do so. You just have to work hard and want it badly enough to figure out how. Everyone can benefit from education and you can never be too educated (or too well dressed
). Anyway, I’m going to share pictures from the three consecutive days that I celebrated this wonderful life event with my family and friends.Day 1: School of Education Honors Award Ceremony
I was in the mood for a classy and black & white outfit for this occasion. I love the pretty necklace and ring my mom gave me (or let me borrow..until I convinced her to give them to me…ha). I love this outfit. It’s simple but pretty. I always look like a baby when I don’t wear enough eye shadow or dark eyeliner…but oh well…ha.
Momma & I <3
My wonderful boyfriend got me a beautiful gold rose for my graduation! Isn’t it absolutely lovely?! Thanks Dominick! <3
A few very blurry pictures that my mom took during the ceremony… She didn’t know how to use my camera…lol.

Day 2: Holy Family University Commencement Ceremony (Graduation!)
I know I ALWAYS take a lot of pictures and then even after going through them, deleting some, and editing them, I still can’t choose and end up posting a million. But at least this time I have an excuse…ha, as if I need one. It was a very special day and I was in a great mood. (No one had told me then, apparently, how terrible the teacher job market was, and that having my own classroom was a fairytale…) It was a wonderful and bittersweet day.
