Although Lars and I found Lindau to be very beautiful, it was a bit too crowded for our taste. Furthermore, we couldn’t get rid of our car, so we continued our trip to a smaller town, called Wasserburg:

What a cozy place! Lots of pubs, restaurants, hotels and b&b’s, because the main source of income in Wasserburg is tourism. Again, lots of historic buildings, but we were drawn towards the water. We found a small beach with a bench and enjoyed the views.
The sun was high up in the sky… People were having a stroll, cycling or kayaking. Pubs and restaurants had put tables and chairs outside. Just like in summer…
