ClaySprayClaySpray
ClaySprayClaySprayI am sure most of you have heard me talk about Clayspray by now, it is a collection of masks that are clay based. (pretty obvious that one)
The clay is exclusively sourced from a careful selection of clays from sites where the clay has been protected from pollution and contamination for thousands of years. The clay has large amounts of minerals in it which has unique properties and only the purest clay is extracted to be used in Clayspray.
The clay is emulsified and is presented in a spray to preserve its purity in a user friendly format.
I have been testing out three products from the Clayspray range and have loved the results. The first two products I tried was the Pore Refining White Clay Masque and the Hydrate H20 Spray Mineral Water.
The Pore Refining Masque contains silica which boosts collagen, calcium to promote healthy cell regeneration and lastly potassium to help lock in moisture and accelerate cell turnover. This does all this without affecting the skins moisture levels and leaves a great all over anti aging effect. I have really enjoyed using this mask, it exfoliates the skin as well as removing all the impurites from the skin. It also helps refine pores which is a big bonus. There is several things I love about this mask. It makes your skin feel like it has had a deep clean, but it still feels soft and hydrated. It also removes with ease unlike some clay masks, a quick wipe with the flannel and its all gone. Lastly it is so easy to use, just squeeze a pump or two in your hand and apply all over, avoiding the eye area. No mess involved at all.
The Hydrate H20 Spray is a mineral rich spring water which gives instant moisture to the skin. It is Sourced from an ancient and isolated aquifier found deep within the rich earth beneath Spain’s Iberian mountains and helps hydrate and nourish the skin. This spray can be used as a toner as well as preparation for using one of the clay Masques. I also use it as a skin refresher during the day. There is a lot of simialr products out there like this, so I wouldn't say this is unique but one thing I do love about this particular mineral spray is that the mist is so fine. When you spray it onto the skin it doesn't feel like you have just stepped into the shower, you can barely feel anything at all to be honest. This is what makes me love this spray and the reason why I would repurchase it over other mineral sprays.
The third item I have been testing from the range it the Deep Cleansing Red Clay Masque For Scalp. I suffer a lot with my scalp, so was eager to try this.
It is a deep cleansing mask that absorbs and regulates oil, helps eliminate impurities, toxins and dandruff and makes the scalp feel fresh and clean.
The Red Clay mask contains iron to activate circulation, magnesium to heal the scalp and silica to regenerate.
Like I said my scalp is a pain, my roots can get quite oily but my scalp is very sensitive and can come up with sore lumps if I use a product it doesn't agree with.
I have only used this once so far, so I shouldn't pass judgment just yet really but I am thoroughly impressed. My scalp felt instantly soothed when I put this on and once I dried my hair I noticed that any flakiness I had, had vanishes and my scalp felt balanced.
As the name suggests this is a red clay mask, so it easy to see where you have put it on the head. It is quite tricky to apply, especially if you have thick hair like myself. I found I needed to use a lot of product but for me the results make it worth it. Another great thing about it being coloured is that it easy to tell when you have rinsed it all out so you are not left with any residue.
As you can properly tell I am really pleased with this product and excited to use it again. I will keep you updated on my thoughts on this one.
Overall I am really impressed with Clayspray, it seems like a lot of thought goes into the products and they deliver great results. I know I will be trying out the other products from the range.
The masks are £45.50 and the Spray £17.50 and you pick them up on the Clayspray website and they are soon to be available on Feelunique.
